The Organizing Committee of the 20th WCNDT strongly believes that under the current circumstances where travel restrictions remains in force, a postponement to May 2024 would ensure a most successful face-to -face conference program while facilitating as many delegates as possible to attend from around the world.
Most importantly, all paid registrations, already accepted abstracts, contracts for exhibition and sponsorship will remain valid for the new dates. The "Important Dates" will be updated in accordance with the new conference dates so that the additional submission of abstracts becomes possible. Also, frequently asked questions (FAQs) to check a few important facts about the 20th WCNDT will be additionally updated during January 2022. The official website of the 20th WCNDT(www.20thwcndt.com) will be resumed with a new important schedule, a revised conference program, and other essential information as early as in May 2022.
We truly appreciate your patience, understanding and support over the years as the conference has been postponed and many details kept changing due to the COVID-19 outbreak. At the same time, we hope that you would still be able to join us in spite of this schedule change. In this regard, we would like to cordially ask you for your continued interest and active participation.

1. Will my abstract still be accepted to present on rescheduled conference dates?
All accepted abstracts, which are already registered for the 20th WCNDT, will be offered the opportunity to present in the same format as currently confirmed at the rescheduled conference.
Please note that if you need to withdraw your intent to present, however, you should notify the conference secretariat via e-mail (email@example.com) to request the cancellation of your abstract submission.
When new important dates are announced, you can register by the registration deadline according to the changed schedule. If you do not register by the deadline, your abstract will be withdrawn.
A new deadline will be announced on the official website (www.20thwcndt.com), which will be renovated and opened as early as May 2022. Please refer to the new deadline to submit.
You can modify the abstract including title, contents, author information other than conference topics. However, please be aware that in case you would amend the conference topics, your abstract has to be gone through review again even if the abstracts have already been accepted.
If you wish to present your abstract at the conference as planned, you do not need to submit a new version of the camera-ready abstract as your submission will be rolled over and applied to the rescheduled conference. If you want to modify your camera-ready abstract, you are able to modify it in keeping with the updated due date.
The deadline will be updated in accordance with the new important dates to be announced. Abstract and Camera-ready abstract revisions are also available based on the new deadline.
YES, as the conference is postponed, the number of abstracts canceled and maintained should be checked and may then go with a call for additional abstracts to fill the vacant spots in the program.
- ▶ Registration
1. I cannot attend the 20th WCNDT on the new dates, what should I do?
Regardless of the postponement of the 20th WCNDT, the eligibility and benefits of registered participants remain unchanged. If a participant is unable to attend on the new conference dates, the slot may be transferred to a colleague. Moreover, a refund is possible (excluding bank transfer fees and administration charges: 12.5%) if it is required because of inevitable circumstances, such as international travel restrictions or conflicts with pre-existing schedules.
To request a refund, please contact the secretariat via e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org) no later than March 31, 2022. Please be advised that no requests for extension beyond the refund deadline can be taken into account. Failure to submit the refund request before the deadline will be considered as consent to retain the participant’s slot. The refund will be made by the end of April 2022.
Participants who have received a refund but decide to re-register must pay the full registration fee. The registration fee will be raised as the conference is postponed in 2024. If you register again after cancellation, you will have to pay the increased registration fee. Thus, we would like to suggest you maintain the paid registrations that have been made to date as the increased registration fee will be applied to a new conference registration.

1. What is the refund policy for exhibition and sponsorship fees?
Regardless of the postponement of the 20th WCNDT, the eligibility and benefits of contracted exhibitors and sponsors remain unchanged. A refund shall not be allowed, according to the terms of the agreement and the regulation of the 20th WCNDT.2. Will the exhibition hall be changed?
No, the exhibition venue is the same as before: Songdo Convensia, Incheon. The layout and booth number will remain the same.3. What about the personal information for free conference registration that exhibitors have submitted/registered in advance?
The benefits for exhibitors will remain the same. If you wish to change the participants' information, you can directly amend it after logging in to the "Exhibitor Zone”. Please note that we will notify the exhibitor by email when the "Exhibitor Zone" opens on the official website.4. Will the 20th WCNDT official partners of the exhibition hall be changed?
Fortunately, the pre-designated partners at Songdo Convensia will remain the same.

1. Will the 20th WCNDT help with fees associated with the cancellations of travel and hotel reservations?
We will not be able to assist with travel and hotel cancellations. We suggest contacting your travel agent/airline and hotel directly.2. Will the access URL of the official website change?
